Award Winning Federation of Jewish Services Charity Film – Appeal Version
The FJS Appeal Video is a beautifully filmed fund raising video for the Manchester based charity The Federation of Jewish Services. The film tells the stories of five families who have faced extremely sad and difficulty situations and how their lives have been changed by the support they received from FJS.
The film was shown at a prestigious fund raising event in Manchester and it was claimed by one member of the fund raising team that there was hardly a ‘dry eye’ in the house.
The Film has subsequently been awarded Second place in the Open category of the IOV Awards 2011 against extremely tough competition.
With over 1,000 members throughout Europe, the IOV Awards has fast become the leading showcase of talent in professional videography and attracts sponsorship from the leading manufacturers and suppliers to the industry.
Redhill Drive Recreation Ground, Castleford
Our client MTJ Associates Ltd, a Leyland based PR Company, asked us to produce a visual case study for their client Sutcliffe Play.
Sutcliffe Play is ranked as one of the world’s leading names in children’s play equipment with 10% of the UK market and 25% of the export market from the UK. They now supply play equipment into local authorities, schools and early years settings, leisure and housing markets and communities worldwide.
For this project Sutcliffe Play worked with Wakefield Council to design a new £70,000 playground in Airedale as part of a scheme to tackle obesity by providing outdoor facilities that encourage and support physical activity.
The Council secured over £70,000 from the NHS Wakefield District Change4Life Three Areas Project grant initiative for the new playground after Airedale was identified by NHS Wakefield District as one of the top three priority areas with particularly high levels of overweight and obese children.
Redhill Drive Recreation Ground was officially opened by children from Airedale Academy and Cllr Yvonne Crewe from Wakefield Council. It’s aim is to encourage local children to increase levels of physical activity and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
Our brief was to capture the opening ceremony and film a group of children putting the new equipment through it’s paces. We spent a day filming over in Wakefield and then returned to the studio to put together the edits.
For this video the client Grace Foods wanted a loop video to support some in-store sampling in a range of Jumbo Supermarkten stores in Holland. The video was to be produced using still images only.
The Brief from the client was that he footage had to convey how easy it is to bring everyday snacks to life with Encona Sauces. The idea being to show people what they can do with Encona Sauces and their favourite foods once they have sampled Encona in the store.
The footage needed to convey Encona Sauces strong ‘food values’ and also had to be engaging, to attract shoppers’ attention in-store.
Music can be used, but it is not necessary.
